About Us

Album artwork has always been at the center of curiosity and connection to the music. It defines the sound, inspires you, makes you think, or just pulls you in. But in today's streaming world, it's been reduced to a tiny square.

Frank Bolter and Justin Raybourn founded CUVR to change that. We're turning album art into real art—something fans can hang on the wall, put on a shelf, and connect with every day. It's a way for artists to tell deeper stories and give their most passionate fans something special. And it's a way for fans to directly support the artists they love.

Album art has always been part of music discovery and connection. CUVR is here to bring that experience back.

Frank Bolter

FOUNDER

Frank Bolter grew up surrounded by music. Raised on Mobile Bay in Alabama, his family ran a marina—a place built on Gulf Coast seafood, cold beer, and the sounds of Jimmy Buffett, Hank Jr., Wet Willie, and Willie Nelson always playing. After graduating, Frank headed to Charlotte—the heart of NASCAR country—where he spent 30+ years building companies across graphics, racing, real estate, and technology. He's worked with championship teams, coached drivers, and helped some of motorsports' biggest brands and stars tell their stories across IndyCar, NASCAR, and beyond.

Music was always there, looking for the next great show, the next artist on the rise. As a creator and entrepreneur, he'd built brands, promoted concerts and races, and developed products across industries, always understanding what connects fans to the artists and stars they love. The music business and motorsports aren't that different—both built on passion, storytelling, and star power. When the idea for CUVR came along, everything clicked. It felt natural, and quickly became a passion project—from concept to storytelling experience. He founded CUVR to give back to the artists chasing their dreams.

Frank loves catching live music at festivals and listening rooms across the US, traveling internationally to dive into local culture, and always on the hunt
for great food.

Justin Raybourn

CO-FOUNDER

Justin Raybourn grew up in South Texas, flipping through his dad's vinyl collection—studying every inch of album covers while the needle traced its way through Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Moody Blues records. When he wasn't lost in liner notes, he was racing—first BMX, then dirt-track stock cars into his mid twenties.

In 1999, he headed to North Carolina to chase motorsports full-time. At Hendrick Motorsports, Justin served as race engineer for Jimmie Johnson and later led design teams during the organization's run of five consecutive NASCAR Cup championships. After roles in engineering management and product development across NASCAR, defense, and advanced manufacturing, he teamed up with Frank Bolter to co-found CUVR—merging deep technical expertise with that lifelong love of music and album art that started on his dad's turntable.

Justin lives in the Lake Norman (NC) area with his wife, Kirsten, and their three boys. He never outgrew riding bikes, loves to wake surf, and chases live music every chance he gets.
